The cattleya orchid (Cattleya aclandiae) is known for large, showy, and fragrant flowers. The cattleya orchid has been called The aristocrat of flowers. This is the most classic orchid and what people think of when they think about orchids. The gigantic blossoms on these stunning orchids can measure up to 8 inches across, and they come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. The lavender is now accompanied by whites, brilliant reds, shades of orange, yellows and even green. Their stems are tall and smooth, and their leaves are a vibrant green.
