Book one of the 4%c series, is a science fiction adventure that takes place in the near future, 2154. Space travel to the planets and asteroid belt for purposes of exploration, mining and settlement occur frequently. Two great space-faring families control the rocket building industry that allows for such travel and the great wealth it generates. The Remington family has ruthlessly controlled and monopolized the industry for several generations and now faces stiff competition from the Barsakova family’s rocket engine company. In this story, the primary conflict occurs between the Remington Empire and the Barsakova family. However, the story intensifies when Sasha a world government scientist secretly discovers an astonishing event on a planet outside of the solar system. The event threatens to destabilize the world government, challenge the separation of church and state laws and pit religious extremists with government officials. While investigating the extremists, the government’s intelligence agency reveals a plot hatched by the Remingtons to over through the government. As the story unfolds, a secret group of extraordinarily gifted people, who have sworn an oath to protect and help humanity, attempt to thwart the Remington plot. The battle among these groups plays out covertly until it finally explodes in to a space war that takes place several hundred miles above the earth’s surface resulting in dire consequences for all parties.
